Problem Statement

The motorcycle dealer's website faces several challenges like Failures in promoting offerings, specials, or events result in missed customer engagement. Poor optimization makes it hard for customers to find the website online. Addressing these issues is crucial for enhancing the website's performance, driving sales, and improving customer satisfaction.

Goals And Objectives

The shop’s main objectives were to enhance its online presence, increase in-store foot traffic, and improve its rank in local search results, including Google’s local 3-Pack and Google Maps. The main objective of this case study is to showcase the significant improvement in Flip My Cycle's backlink status from April 2021 to January 2024. By implementing effective SEO strategies and building high-quality backlinks, we were able to achieve a total of 20,241 backlinks by January 2024. At the start of our collaboration with Flip My Cycle in April 2021, the website had no backlinks. These consisted mostly of lo -quality links that did not provide any value or boost organic rankings. Our first step was to conduct a thorough analysis of the current backlink profile and identify areas for improvement.

Our strategy was centered around Google My Business optimization, local keyword optimization, and improving domain authority. Flip My Cycle was able to rank on the first page of Google Maps for relevant keywords like "two-wheeler dealer in Fayetteville, NC and "motorcycle shop near Fayetteville, NC". This helped them attract more local customers who were actively searching for their products or services.

Implementation

Our SEO strategy was implemented over a number of months, adjusting strategies based on the season, performance data, and local search trends.

1) To improve domain authority (DA) and boost rankings even further, we implemented an aggressive backlink building strategy aimed at acquiring high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites in the motorcycle industry. This not only helped us improve organic traffic but also made Flip My Cycle's website more trustworthy and credible in the eyes of search engines.

2) Prior to our engagement, Flip My Cycle's website was not ranking for any relevant keywords. Our team conducted a thorough keyword research and identified the top-performing keywords based on search volume, competition, and relevance to their business. We optimized the website's existing content by incorporating these keywords in page titles, headings, meta tags & descriptions while ensuring natural placement within the text. We also created location-specific landing pages targeting specific services offered in different areas of Austin.

With our efforts, we were able to achieve significant improvements in Flip My Cycle's SEO performance. From April 2021 to January 2024, we saw a remarkable increase in organic keyword indexing on Google, with the number rising from 0 to 1279 keywords. This led to a substantial boost in monthly organic traffic as well, with numbers increasing from 5382.
